Wore them to work and then out to dinner. Warm legs from morning to night, and nobody believed they were fleece-lined.

The waistband stays put even when I’m sitting at my desk for eight hours. No other tights have ever managed that.
I’m 178 cm and wasn’t sure. The guide said one size up – perfect length all the way.
Tried one pair first. Two weeks later I ordered five – one for every day of the working week.
The tights that look like bare legs – and keep you warm like fleece.
You know the dilemma every winter. Nylon tights that look lovely but let the cold straight through, or thick woolly tights that are warm but heavy and dark. So your skirts and dresses end up at the back of the wardrobe from November to April.
Lovelle Thermal solves it. On the outside they are smooth, matt and skin-toned, so your legs look bare. On the inside is brushed fleece that holds in your body heat – soft as a blanket against your skin, without the bulk.
The high, wide waistband smooths your tummy and stays put all day, even when you sit down. Four-way stretch shapes hips and thighs for a smooth silhouette under fitted skirts and dresses, while giving you complete freedom of movement.
- Brushed fleece on the inside – warmth without weight
- Bare-leg effect in two skin-tone shades: Latte and Light
- High sculpting waistband that won’t roll down
- Four-way stretch for complete freedom of movement
- Sizes XXS/XS to 2XL/3XL – simply choose your usual trouser size
What you get: one pair of Lovelle Thermal fleece-lined tights in your chosen size and shade. Soft microfibre with elastane, brushed fleece on the inside. Wash at 30 °C in a laundry bag and hang to dry.

Mirror selfie before work. I’d expected them to look plasticky, but in daylight they look just like normal tights. Warm all the way to the office, and the waistband stayed put until the evening.
Finally, tights that don’t roll down under my tummy. I followed the size guide and went for 2XL/3XL – snug at the waist but not uncomfortable, and the legs are long enough. I’ve already ordered three more pairs.
Took this photo on a walk at minus seven. My hands were cold, not my legs. My friend didn’t realise I was wearing tights until she touched them.
Bought one pair to try first, now I have five. On me, Latte looks like legs with a hint of leftover summer tan. Tip: pull the waistband right up, it’s meant to sit high.
I’m 57 and I’ve worn thick woolly tights every winter for thirty years. Now I take the dog for its morning walk in a knitted dress – warm and comfy, and they don’t itch at all.
Choose your usual trouser size. The tights have lots of stretch, but the waistband should feel snug – that’s what does the shaping.

How to put them on without laddering them: take off your rings, sit down, gather one leg down to the toe and roll it up gently – one leg at a time. Never pull on the waistband.
Washing: 30 °C, inside out, in a laundry bag. Hang to dry. No tumble dryer and no fabric softener – they flatten the fleece.
Material: soft microfibre with elastane, brushed fleece on the inside.
Here’s what we’ve heard
The waistband stays up
“Every pair of tights I’ve owned has rolled down under my tummy after an hour. These stay up all day, even when I’m sitting. I went for 2XL/3XL as the guide suggested and it was spot on.”
Linnea, 41Verified purchase
Minus seven in a skirt
“A walk in the park at minus seven and it was my hands that were cold, not my legs. My friend thought I was bare-legged under my skirt.”
Ida, 27Verified purchase
Nobody can tell
“I’ve swapped my thick tights for these at work. Nobody can tell the difference from ordinary ones, but I’m no longer sitting by the window freezing.”
Karin, 44Verified purchase
Four things in one pair of tights
Shapes, smooths and warms – and barely shows. Tap a number.

-
High, sculpting waistband
Wide and high. Smooths your tummy and stays put – no rolling down when you sit.
-
Shapes hips and bottom
Four-way stretch holds you in and lifts, for a smooth, flattering silhouette under fitted skirts.
-
Brushed fleece inside
Soft as a blanket against your skin and holds in your body heat – without the bulk.
-
Bare-leg effect
The skin tone on the outside makes your legs look bare, not like thick winter tights.
Looks like nylon. Feels like fleece.
On the outside they’re smooth, matt and skin-toned, so your legs look bare under your skirt.
The inside is brushed fleece that holds in your body heat. You get the warmth of a pair of joggers – without looking as if you’re wearing thick winter tights.
Skirts, dresses and shorts. All winter long.
Which shade is yours?
The fleece on the inside shimmers through and gives your legs their colour. Choose the shade closest to your own skin tone.

Latte
Lightly tanned to medium skin
A warm, golden tone that gives your legs a sun-kissed glow in the middle of winter. The one that suits most people.

Light
Fair to very fair skin
A cooler, lighter tone for fair Nordic skin – looks natural even when you’re at your palest in February.
Not sure? Choose Latte – it looks natural on most people. Picked the wrong shade? Exchange it within 30 days.
Why not just ordinary tights?
Your dresses don’t have to wait until May.
Woolly tights are warm but heavy and dark. Nylon looks lovely but lets the cold straight through. That’s why your skirts get pushed to the back of the wardrobe as soon as it drops below zero.
Lovelle Thermal gives you both: light, bare-looking legs to show off, and a warm lining to walk home in when the evening turns cold.
For work, for dinner, for the Christmas party.
One pair won’t see you through a whole winter.
Most women wear theirs every day from November to March. With three pairs you always have a clean one – one on, one in the wash and one in the drawer. Five pairs are for when you want one at work and one in your bag, or to share with a friend.

Light was perfect for my pale winter skin – Latte would have been too dark on me. Wore them to Christmas dinner with my velvet dress and was asked three times where I’d bought my tights.

I commute for an hour every morning and stay warm the whole way. I’m tall, so I went up a size as the guide suggested – the length is plenty and the gusset sits where it should.

I have strong thighs and tights usually slide down at the crotch. These stay put. Bought five pairs.

The first winter in years that I can wear a skirt. Warm, soft and they don’t look cheap.
The waistband does more than I expected – my tummy looks smoother in fitted dresses. And it doesn’t roll down!
Best buy of the winter. They look like sheer tights but keep you as warm as joggers.
I’ve never found tights that come all the way up over my tummy. These do, and they don’t dig in.
Stood at a Christmas market for four hours in sub-zero temperatures. My legs were warm – the rest of me was frozen.
I’m tall and always struggle with tights. Took L/XL as the guide said and they come all the way up. At last.
They don’t look like those shiny, cheap versions. Matt and natural in daylight.
I’ve washed them ten times now. The fleece is still soft and there are no ladders.

I wear them to work with a skirt and blazer. Nobody can tell the difference from ordinary tights, but I’m no longer freezing by the window. The size guide was right first time.

Arrived in three days, beautifully packaged. The fleece on the inside is thicker and softer than I expected. Went for the 3-pack – two for me and one for my mum.

Soft as a blanket on the inside. I even wear them at home instead of loungewear.

Bought them for me, my daughter and my mum. All three of us are happy, and the size guide was right for every one of us.
I’ve washed them ten times now. The fleece is still soft and there are no ladders.

Ordered on Monday and wore them to a party on Friday. Warm all evening, even in the queue outside.
Really warm and lovely. A bit snug for the first few days, I’m at the upper end of M/L – but they softened up after a couple of wears.
Super warm. I’m petite, so they wrinkle a little at the ankle, but it doesn’t show in boots.
Latte came out a bit darker on me than I expected, but it still looks natural. Trying Light next time.
Lovely warmth and shape. A little fleece fluff in the laundry bag after the first wash, then nothing more.
Fit well and don’t roll down. I was right on the border between two sizes and took the larger one – the right choice.
Lovely and warm. The guide gave me M/L because I’m tall, and it was right – XS/S would have been too short.
From a distance they really do look like bare legs. Up close you can tell they’re tights, but that doesn’t matter.
Warm and soft, but I should have gone up a size as the guide actually said – the gusset sat a little low. Swapped to L/XL and now they’re perfect.
Lovely and warm, but I got a hole in the toe after a few weeks. My nails were probably to blame. Customer service was quick and friendly.
Everything you want to know before you order
The inside is brushed fleece that holds in your body heat just like a pair of joggers, only in one thin layer. They’re made for an ordinary Nordic winter’s day under a skirt or dress – many of our customers wear them in sub-zero temperatures.
From a few metres away, yes. The outside is smooth and matt in a skin-like tone, so they look like sheer tights. Up really close, or in strong backlight, you can tell it’s fabric – they aren’t fully see-through. Choose the shade closest to your skin tone for the most natural result.
Go by the size you wear in trousers or skirts: XXS/XS fits EU 30–32, XS/S EU 34–38, M/L EU 40–44, L/XL EU 46–48 and 2XL/3XL EU 50–56. If you’re between two sizes, or taller than 175 cm, choose the larger one. The size guide at the top also shows waist and hip measurements if you want to be sure.
No. The high, wide waistband lies flat against your body and stays there, even when you sit down, bend over or take the stairs. If it still feels too tight or too loose, you can exchange the size within 30 days.
The fabric is thicker and tougher than ordinary nylon tights, but sharp nails and rings can still make holes. Sit down, gather the leg down to the toe and roll it up one leg at a time – never pull on the waistband. Wash them in a laundry bag and they’ll last all winter.
No, it’s brushed and soft against the skin. Wash them inside out in a laundry bag at 30 °C and skip the fabric softener and tumble dryer, and the fleece will stay soft and won’t shed.
Yes. You have 30 days to exchange the size free of charge – you only pay the return postage.
For hygiene reasons we can’t accept tights that have been worn or washed. Do try them on indoors and keep the labels on until you’ve made up your mind.
Buy 1 pair at the regular price, buy 2 and get 1 free (3 pairs) or buy 3 and get 2 free (5 pairs). You choose a shade for each pair and a size once for the whole bundle – or different sizes if you’re buying for someone else too. The discount is applied automatically at checkout, no code needed.
